We are pleased to invite you to the Instituto Rui Barbosa de Altos Estudos em Cultura's VII International Symposium on History and Culture of Brazil, a series of Zoom meetings to be held every Monday from the 22nd of June to the 31st of August, from 2pm-4pm EST. The symposium will be in Portuguese and will be centred around a discussion on the process of building a State, its people and its culture from the perspective of the struggles for freedom.
We are also delighted to share with you that founding members of the Network, including our co-coordinators Gladys Mitchell-Walthour and James N. Green, Sidney Chalhoub, Bryan McCann, Barbara Weinstein and Amy Chazkel will participate as panellists.
